Bastia is a small hilltop village surrounded by Chestnut forests and the most fantastic views across the valleys and to the mountains. A mobile shop calls at the village with all your necessary provisions. Licciana Nardi, about 2 miles away, is the neighbouring small town with shops, bars and restaurants. Slightly further, about 15 minutes drive, is the large town of Aulla with many supermarkets and shops. The area around Bastia has many small villages and towns with great restaurants, bars and village shops with great local produce.
